We took our annual anniversary camping trip to Fahnestock State Park last weekend. All in all a great trip. Friday night was perfect weather. Saturday morning it rained, but the sun came out in the afternoon and dried us off. Saturday night the wind blew in and things were quite cold. Luckily we avoided any trees falling on us our our car.

For our Saturday hike we drove down Rte 301 to Dennytown road. We parked at the lot on Dennytown road across from the entrance to the Blue and Appalachian trails. Took the Blue trail to the Red trail looping back to Dennytown road. About 3 hours, a very nice hike.

We had a new tent site this year, #23. It was a pretty good site, I would stay there again.
